I used the TV Guide app in GBPVR to schedule a recording of Futurama from The Cartoon Network yesterday. When I watched it today, it was an episode of The Family Guy, which ran one-half hour after Futurama. The file name indicated that it was Futurama, and when I ran the RenameRecording app, it changed the name to the title of the Futurama episode that was supposed to run, but it wasn't the right show.

I am using GBPVR version 96.12, and the clock on my PC is correct. The GBPVRRecordingService.exe-1.log indicates that the recording started at 11:29PM, even though it should have started at 10:59PM. I'm sure that the TV Guide app showed the correct time in the listings when I scheduled the recording. Strangely enough, I accessed the TV Guide using the web admin interface today, and set it to show the listings from last night, and it had the 11pm and 11:30pm shows reversed!

Just sounds like your listings were wrong. It does happen. GB-PVR has no way to know.

Cartoon Network has been wrong a lot lately. GB, checked against Yahoo TV, both show Home Movies from 12-12:30, but it's been ATHF for weeks now.

CN is just not giving out the right listigns.

I'm sure it's just the latest part of the "PVR conspericy".

Screw the listings! We play the shows when we get around to it!.

All the more reason to record everthing all the time. Do like Tipster, keep adding tuners until you can record all your favoriate channels continously.

Seriously not all listings are equal. I found our local PBS stations listings were not complete 6 months ago. The last 3 weeks they look good. I"m sure it has to do with the data entry.

I would think that, but why screw w/ Yahoo's TV listsings? Moreover, I just saw that TV Guide online is also wrong. That I would see as amost primarially for just web users, not PVRs.

No, here I think it's just someone hired their nephew over at CN.

Btw, I just checked, and my mom's Tivo has the same wrong info, so there's really no gettign around it, except for getting it right from the CN web site (which I checked is correct).

I had to do this last year when recording some stuff off Bravo. You woul dneed to either create a manual recording, or grab the wrong show in that block if the length was correct.

I've had this happen, too. It seems CN flip-flops the time slots for Futurama and Family Guy.

They're pretty fond of chaning things up, but it's been a few weeks since they posted the updates to guide vendors. I thought they would at least at leats update to show the Miyazaki film series they are doing.

There's a post about this at the zap2it labs board in the schedule discrepancies forum. I guess I'll have to check the adult swim site each day for the correct schedule, which is a real pain for me, because I can't figure out how to get the text size up to a comfortable level when viewing their site. I've tried both Firefox & IE.

Also, the color scheme of their site makes it hard for me to read. I registered to use their message board, but I can't login, because I can't find the boxes where you enter the username and password! They appear to my ageing eyes to be very dark grey against a black background.
