Does anyone know if it's possible to set up a channel with GB-PVR to access the S-video input to a Hauppauge PVR-350....???

yes, you need to set up a new recording device in the config. call is tomething like VHS and configure the device settings to use the s-video input. If u are planning to record from vhs, select composite input instead as the signal from the recorder is almost certainly composite.

add a channel called VHS and pick a random channel number.

You can then create a manual recording using this channel and watch the recording (via pending recordings) to make sure it is all working.

...thanks for the response......the only problem is that GB-PVR setup wants you to tell it what frequency the new channel is, and I have no way of knowing what that is...... is there something in the GB-PVR initial setup that lets it know that there are inputs to the PVR-350 other than RF. The clunky Hauppauge software lets you easily assign a channel number to the S-Video input, but I don's see anything like that with GB-PVR......Smile

take a look at this page of the wiki, and specifically the second screenshot down. you need to set the drop down box labeled 'source' which by default is set to 'internal tuner' take a look at the list and you should see options to select your various svideo/composite inputs of your tuner.
