Hi,
Shortly I am buying a new house that will include an audio visual distribution system that includes speakers in teh ceilings etc... However, the philosophy of thr system is that all AV equipment is located in one central location.
My problem is that there is no multiplexing of the remote control IR signals. That is to say that whichever room you are in all devices will receive the IR commands. This is fine when the AV equpiment consists of different devices such as a DVD player, a VCR and a hi-fi. What I want to do is to transpose my current system of a GBPVR server and several MVP clients to my new house, but it seems to me that if all my MVPs will receive commands at the same time they will all respond at the same time.
Is there perhaps a way of changing the IR commands that the MVP responds to?
Any ideas?
Tristan.
