Just curious how many (if any) users have the Wireless MVP and actually have it working wireless, and if so, how well does it work? Personally, I have 4 wireless MP3 players in my house and I use all but one hardwired because the wireless isn't robust enough to even stream music (granted, they are all 802.11b).

Any insight would be appreciated.

Thanks,
-Brad

I have two wired MVPs connected to wireless bridges as described here.

This setup works great.

I have no problems with the wireless mvp - but the wmvp is located in the room above the wireless router...

How far is the furthest wmvp likely to be from the access point, and what are the walls/floors made of...

I'm running a normal wired MVP plugged into a Linksys WRT54GL running DD-WRT firmware in client-bridge mode back to my main access point, which is wired to my GBPVR box - works great. No stuttering, no lost connections, etc.

My testing has shown about 20Mb of bandwidth available on a properly configured wireless G connection with decent signal, which is more than enough to run my MVP and normal wireless traffic.

If you need some decent wireless boxes to use as client bridges/access points - check out the Buffalo WHRG54S, it's typically cheaper than a WRT54GL and I like them better than the WRT54GL's I have.

Supposedly, the Buffalo WHRG125 is even better - priced nicely too, but I haven't personally used one of these.

Also consider powerline hd if there's any chance your wireless network won't be rock solid...
