Hi Sub,

I have just built my second PVR with GBPVR - I love it.

The problem is this:

I have a WinTV-NOVA-T card connected to my rooftop antenna. Live TV mode works fine at the first access from the menu.
However, if I try to change channel with the remote, mouse or keyboard, I get the "No video signal detected....." error message.
If I then go back to the main menu and re-select the "Live TV" mode, I get the channel with no problems at all.

I have looked at the "gbpvr.exe-native.log" and the signal strength is being recorded as zero. What's going on?

I have attached the above mentioned file for you to look at.

Ta in advance, movie_lover.

My apologies, it seemed that I attached a rather verbose logfile. I'll post a shorter one when "Life on Mars" has finished.

Movie Lover, did you end up getting this issue fixed? I have the same problem, but with a DVB-S card. Please let me know if you got it fixed, as i'm at a loss

Deeps, that seems like a lifetime ago, even though it's only a couple months!

The problem seemed to be associated with gaps in my EPG data. Once I made sure that the EPG matched the available chennels, the switching problem disappeared, even on the channels with poor reception.

Hope that helps.

hmm, when i use that native.dll file, I can't even exit and go back into live tv. I have to exit the entire program!

hmm, so does that mean the problem lies somewhere in the nativethingi.dl file?

don't worry, i'd saved a copy of the other native file, and when i put that back, it went back to how it was.

i'm going to do a bit more testing etc. today and will report back.
