This is no longer a problem, but I thought I do something different and post a solution rather than a problem -- haha.
To get rid of some EPG problems, I uninstalled my PVR500 and PVR150 and then reinstalled them, reloaded the EPGs, and wow! EGP problems solved! Then I experienced the weirdest week of recording! I have three tuners, and quite a few times when two different shows are recording at the same time, the shows would switch file names -- meaning like E.R. would record to CSI's file name and the opposite, too. It was really bizarre behavior.
Turned out that when I reinstalled the PVR500, I didn't specify the second tuner to be Device #2 -- they were both set to Device #1. Oops! I figured it out since that's the only modification I'd done to GBPVR in weeks, so I figured it had to be something like that.
Anyhoo, I thought I'd post the problem and (now painfully obvious) solution here, for anyone who makes the same stupid mistake and does a search.

GBPVR system info intentionally left blank because I'm personally
insulted that you can't remember it from previous signatures.
