Hi guys i've had this awesome program for a while now. And suddenly for a couple days now i havent been able to update my EPG causing my whole TV guide to be empty. I did a couple searchs and first off i use zap2it. I also tried the complete reload checkbox that one of the admins reccomended but every time i try to manually update the EPG (wont update normaly either) the update dialog box shows up for a good 10 seconds and then goes away. After i Check and still my tv guide is empty. Also i have no idea how to find a log of error:o

Thanks for any help

Click the 'Update EPG' button in the config app, then zip and attach the config.exe.log and I'll take a look.

First off,

Thanks for all your hard work, Sub. GB-PVR is fantastic and has been a pleasure to use.

I seem to be experiencing the exact same problem as Papo28. Just a few days ago my EPG stopped updating. I can log into the Zap2it website--my account is current and the settings correct--but no attempts to update the listings via GB-PVR have been successful. Attached is my config log and the error message screen.

Thanks!

Hey, Papo,

By any chance do you have Comcast cable? Do you live in the Western US? I'm in California. Or as our Governor says, CaliFOAHnia. Smile

Just wondering how many other factors we might have in common that may contribute to the problem.

Quote:5/3/2006 9:34:44 PM.968 ERROR [189] Error UpdateEPG()'ing: System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (500) Internal Server Error
It seems to have encountered an error at the zap2it end.

If you log into http://labs.zap2it.com, does it still list your channel line up? A couple of users had this error in the past, and they found that zap2it account had "lost" their channel lineup. If it doesnt have the lineup, then try adding it back in. If it does have the lineup, email your zap2it username/password to me at support@devnz.com and I'll try to find out what is wrong with your account.
