Just thought I'd start this thread for anyone who has anything to say about the plugin or would like to see any features added. I'll add a link to here from the wiki.

The latest version can be found here http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Plugin/SuDoku

Cheers,
Brian

My system drive is set up as F: and not C: I have no C: drive in my system (long story and will fix when I'm forced to rebuild). When I start SoDoku and select Start/Cont I get the following error message:

Error: Couldnot find part of the path "C:\Sodukutracer.log"

Anything I can change to use the F: drive instead of C:?

Urrrk. Sorry - my bad. That tracer was something I put in for testing purposes. I hadn't realised I'd left it in there when I put the plugin up on the wiki.

Does it crash the plugin or can you still use it?

I'll try and get another version up ASAP.

Brian,
No hurry. I mentioned the Soduku to my wife and she expressed interest. I started it on the desktop to make sure it worked before I told her about it. That how I stumbled across the error message.

It does not crash if you move the focus off of the start/cont button as your first action. I'll provide the wiki instructions to my wife and let her have a go at it. I'll let you know if there are any problems.

Cheers,
Mike

Thanks for letting me know. I've stuck a note to my screen to remind me to fix it tomorrow - I hate messy loose ends.

Hope your wife likes it.

Brian

i have d/led the plugin, installed, and played quite a few times....and in doing so, came up with a feature i'd like to see:

when using the arrow keys to navigate the game grid, could you make it skip over those numbers that are "given" at the beginning?

another way of saying it is only allowing the user to have focus on a box that is, at the beginning of the game, blank.

i think that would be a great addition.

pov.

Valid point. Perhaps I'll add this as an option - it would confuse me if this was the default way of moving so having it as an option would be better (it's my age...I'm easily confused these days. Smile ).

I'm using 97.9 with the default blue skin.

I have put the skin files into the right place, but the plugin still tells me it "cannot find part of the path c:\program.....\blue\SuDoko\skin.xml"

I can see this directory and the file s- but the plugin will not go.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

Yes. The current version on the Wiki download works for me on 0.97.9. What problems are you seeing?

Cheers,
Brian
