TV programme stopped recording at 4gb

I've just had found out that a recording I was watching stopped recording before it was meant to.

The size of the recording appears to be around 4Gb. I've just realised that the recording partition is FAT32. Is this the reason? If it was NTFS would it have continued?

yep - FAT32 has a 4GB file size limit.

I thought as much - I can't believe I made that mistake. Will be converting it to NTFS now.
