I am having a new problem a day after the upgrade. I had a recording set for 9pm on channel 36 , it started to record channel 618? I checked my zap2it settings and they are good , I checked my channels under capture sources and they are good. I emptied the EPG and reloaded . Try to record ch 36 and it changes the channel to 618? Where could these numbers be getting all mixed up?

I now see I have all of my basic cable channels 2-70 repeated 2 to 4 times under the capture source and the channel numbers are 500 -600? Id this a zap2it problem? Maybe the update had nothing to do with it.

I've tried deleting all channels and starting over with no joy. Several blocks of channels are missing (2-9 ok 10-17 missing but show up after channel 402 in the guide etc)

This is the only report I've seen of this. I cant be arsed even guessing what it is (long day). Try deleting your gbpvr.mdb file so it starts with a fresh one, then recreate your capture source.

I think I'll leave it for today and try an EPG update tomorrow. Does not make sense that gbpvr has anything to do with it. All the channels in the zap2it screen are there , but when they get loaded into the guide I get strange results such as ( channel 13 missing , should show as 13 wjj but shows up as 13 608) and shows up at the bottom of the guide , when I select to watch it , it changes the stb to 608 which is a not even a legit channel here?

Maybe you should double check the channels in your line up at http://labs.zap2it.com? They have been known to do some bizzare things from time to time.

The easiest way to fix it will be starting from a blank database.

If it's not fixed tommorow I'll start over. Last time something similiar happened with my guide I wasted countless brain cells trying to figure it out only to find out it was zap2it.

If I delete the gbpvr.mdb should I export recordings first?

If you want to keep them - yes. It'll only retain the ready recordings. You'll need to reschedule any recordings you want to make in the future.

Ok , problem wasn't fixed after another EPG update. I deleted the gbpvr.mdb file and rebuilt everything from scratch. Updated EPG and still have missing channels and the channels are not in the right order. Anyone else have any zap2it issues ?

email your zap2it username and password over to me, and a list of the missing channels and I'll take a look.

Are you sure you dont have a duplicate channel listed later in your zap2it lineup? If you've got the same channel multiple times, only the last one is retained.
