Hello all,

I'm a new GBPVR user and am SO close to having it all working. The one thing that's happening that I'd like to fix (if possible) is the text getting cut off. This occurs pretty much everywhere (in the TV guide channel names and descriptions as well as on screen during live TV program descriptions). Can anyone help with this?

I read a thread where I can use logos for the Channels instead of text, but I can't seem to find a page which has instructions for it. If someone could help on that too, that would be great!

You need to find your channel logos somewhere. There are utilities around, and websites for it. Then you need to download them and put them in the devnz\gbpvr\media\channellogos directory. Make sure they have the same name as the channel itself has in gbpvr.

Thanks Stefan, that works great!

Can anyone else lend a hand with the text cutting off in the show names and descriptions?

Can you post a screenshot or two so we know exactly what you're talking about.

If you've configured Window's large fonts, this can cause ugly clipping nearly everywhere. This is fixed by switching back to regular fonts.

It probably also depends a bit on the chosen skin, as different skins provide different amounts of space (not big differences but a little) for the various things.

In the TV Guide there was an option to choose how many minutes it shows, so if you reduce the horizontal scale from 120 minutes to 60, you will have more space for each show... Of course, if you have a scheduled news-flash for 5 minutes, it will almost always get clipped...
