I'm using GBPVR, 0.97.07. I previously downloaded and installed .net V2. When I try to update EPG, with my Norton Internet Security disabled (which is the way I have always had to do it), I do not succeed, but get a long note which begins: "Your EPG source does not appear to be configured correctly. Check the EPG source setting and try again. The remote server returned an error: (500) Internal Server Error". This is followed by a lot of technical data.

Everything looks OK with the EPG source setting. I haven't changed that for months.

I had a similar problem like this several months ago. It turned out to be a problem with Zap2it. I have not changed my configuration for several months.
Any suggestions? Will this all straighten out after the holidays? I'd like my GBPVR running again.

Tnx, Paul.

Log into http://labs.zap2it.com and check you've still got a channel lineup listed. Some people have had them 'go missing' and it causes an error like this.

Sub,

I looked at the link you suggested, and sure enough, my lineup was not there! Only a couple of days ago, I had to renew my account, so I guess it disappeared then.

Anyway, after setting up the lineup again, I am still not able to update the EPG, and get a very similar message, with some variation on the details.

Any other thoughts?

Paul.

Post the config.exe.log that shows this new message and I'll take a look.

Sub,

Help! I can't quite see how to send you the required file. How do you attach the file to this note? I tried the Attach Files section below, but that didn't do it.

If you hit the Post Replay button below, then it'll switch to the 'Reply to topic' page. Further down that page you'll find a 'manage attachments' buttons. Click it...

Sub,

I did what you said and after browsing for the config.exe.log file, and hitting Upload, the response was Invalid File. I notice that .log files are not in the list of acceptible files. Am I supposed to zip the file?
What now?

On XP, select your file or list of files, then do right click to send to compress folder. That compress folder is the one you want to attach to your message.
