After Reinstall No Tuner Available

I've been fighting with 97.7 and now I just have to sleep and hope that someone else has an Idea...

After I reinstalled windows and GB-PVR 97.7, all is well except there's no tuners available.

I have two PVR150MCE

I've tried reinstalling the drivers, going back to the ones that came with the card. For the longest time I thought the card wasn't even working, but there's a test capture program with the Hauppauge CD that showed me some picture...

I've even tried and resintalled 96.12 (cheating) same thing... That sort of points out that it's not a GB-PVR version thing.

I'm at a loss. Everything was so easy for me, a few months ago, I suspect there were somethings that worked, that I was taking for granted..

What do you think I'mn over looking?

All right. I was having other troubles anyway, so I formatted and reinstalled my machine. Installed fresh everything, including 97.7.

The tuners came back, so I have no idea what really happened. but that's life.
Now I had lot of stuttering, and shaky picture on Live TV, and slightly shakey picture on MPEG playback. AVI(divx/xvid) won't play yet because I haven't installed the codecs yet...

When I reverted to 96.12. Everything cleared up completely. This was several days, no other software installed, lots of reboots,... etc..

THen today, a bit of stuttering on live TV, and recording playback stutters, though I'm not sure of the playback is stuttering or if it stuttered during record...

I think that I will be installing 97.7 again just so that I can get some logs to you...

I successfully installed 97.7 (just in time for your new release) and my tuners are back, and my picture is clear and not stuttering...

I still don't know why the tuners disapperead. Maybe I'll never know. the windows reinstall helped.

The other issues I had were Both the CyberLink Codec and the Hauppauge decoders installed, even though the CyberLink was selected in the Config.

I removed all but the Cyberlink after reading a couple of posts about GB-PVR trying to start two decoders...

And the other issue is well dodcumented and that's the quartz.dll with AT cards..
