im really getting sick of all the emails and PM regarding this plugin, i said i was going to fix it when i had the chance a few times, but just so we are all clear and i stop getting emails:


i WILL update the plugin!
AFTER i finish My Videos 5!

it shouldnt take more than a day or two to write, but im really busy at the moment and only have the weekends to work on these plugins.

I had not seen any threads where you mentioned that a fix was in the pipeline. I certainally did not mean to pressure you in any way. I was just asking, and I do believe it was rather politley. I'm sorry that I've added to your frustration in recieving so many requests.

As annoying as it may be though, you should attach a certain amount of pride to the interest of the furthur development of your work.

no its not that it was you, it was that i got about 30 emails/pms in total, that was getting annoying.

LOL, now you can see, how important your plugin is :-D We NEED this one ^^ More than MyVideos or anything else *g* This plugin is an unicat, a perfect piece of plugin... ;-)

just to let you all know ive started working on the next version of this.

but instead of hacking a plugin together from the other plugins ive made, im going to spend a little bit more time on designing it, which should make the plugin more scalable and far easier to maintain in the future.

Btw., one idea:

Is it possible to program this plugin to close a started Programm/Application? That was one weakpoint with the old plugin.
Some Apps needed ALT+F4 to close, other ones had special exit commands and so on.
It would be perfect to start with the MCE Remote V2a and close with this one the app. =)

no, i rather leave that up to the program launched. ie set your remote keys in the irremote.ini file (or via girder or whatever you use) to close the app launched.

Mhm... I hoped for this, because: One APP needs to use an exit command, the other one a sys-command, another one the combi ALT+F4. I can't map these Buttons to a remote, because i am using the MCE Remote V2a. This one seems to be not useful with HIP, because it's not accepting the specialdrivers... -.-

I hope a little bit longer ^^ How about an eHome Configuration Tool for the Microsoft MCE Remote Control V2... :confused: *buck* *g*

its pretty complete, just needs a few more hours of programming to finish it off (i barely have the time to spend 3 hours a week on these plugins anymore)

it should work well enough for everyone.
