TV Scan not working second time

This may be to do with the fact that GB PVR still detects my old bda device (An Avermedia card that had been uninstalled, but still gets picked up in the mux player checker), but I can only scan for channels when I am inserting a new capture device.

If I go back and edit the capture device and scan for channels, then I cant re scan, it tells me it cant initialise the BDA device.
The solution is to remove the capture device and insert it again (Annoying, as I'm having to rescan a few times to pick up one pesky channel)

Try deleting the Scan-X.cache files in the BDA folder between each scan. It's still a hassle but easier than removing/replacing the capture card.

It might work - I was messing around trying to detect the BBC HD trial channel - it found it OK but then the details were put in the scan cache file and wouldn't allow me to scan again after that (until I deleted or edited the cachce file).

If that works then it suggests something is being put in the scan cache which GB-PVR doesn't like reading back in on subsequent scans.
