Can you post the other logs aswell? I'd like to see what the other processes were doing at the time.

Not sure which logs will be useful, so I've zipped up all the logs that were modified just slightly before this occured.

Thanks!

Hi Sub,

I regularly get database lock error messages and it always occurs during playback of a previously recorded video.

I also get Error playback file error messages too.

I've attached my logs for you to see.

Thanks.

Sorry, I dont really know. I cant see any obvious cause. I'll try some tests today with the resume prompting enabled to see if I have any success reproducing it. This is what seemed to be happening when the problem occurred.

Smile Thanks, I hope you figure it out. I hope it's not one of those stupid things that's specific to me (like i installed some weird plugin.) I hope it's not my pvr2 usb2 either. Or VNC server?

Thanks again Smile hope you find a cause/solution.

I'm still occassionally getting the sqlite database lock error message during playback of a recording (either from resume or not).

What usually happens is when I'm watching a video and I press skip >| on the remote or the keyboard you don't get a response. If you press skip again, no response, but after several seconds, it will actually skip the number of times you have pressed skip but then it immediately quits the playback and display the msg claiming the database file is locked.

If you press skip only once and you get no response, sometimes if you wait several seconds, it will actually skip and continue normal playback. If you try to skip again it may skip properly or it may exit and display the database file is locked message.

I've attached the logs of my most recent database lock event.

Thanks!

Can you post a complete set of logs?

Do you set GB-PVR to auto convert recordings to some other format? (xvid/divx etc)
