Hi,

I have recently installed gb on my pc and have everything set it and it seems to all be fine. However, when I set it to record a program it acts as if it is recording but once complete the file has a name but no data related to it (comes in at 0kb).

Does anyone have any idea as to what my issue is (why it is not actually recording?).

I have a Hauppauge 250 connected to direct cable using an internal turner.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thks

I guess you have the Hauppauge drivers installed, does it work with Wintv? Make sure you have a 250 selected in config capture source, You can quite easily go wrong there, is my opinion.

Everything works with WinTv - I am able to record that way. Updated all the drivers via the website and still have the issue with gb.

I can get "Live TV" via gb but it won't record - it creates the file but nothing actually records

Nothing special about the recording-dir, networked or whatever?
edit: Maybe you should send the logs so we can have a look, who knows.

This is the error I find in gbpvrrecordingserviceexe-2.log:

This is what the wiki says about an error like this:

I'm not sure this will help you much, but at least we have narrowed it down a bit. Maybe someone else will help you, I really have to get some sleep nowSmile . Worst case scenario: you have to wait till sub gets back from his well-deserved holiday. Good luck
