Is there anyway at all to add the ability to add the Select (button function)
to the HaupBlast utility? ...

Currently it supports the channel tuning... but occasionally my DishNetwork DVR will go to sleep and I have to press select to 'wake it up'... I know the "Hauppage IRBlast" program does allow for power on function as well... so even a power on is possibly better than nothing.. but I would prefer the ability to use the HaupBlast like this

Haupblast {select} 300

No, unfortunately this is not possible. I can only tell the Hauppauge IR Blaster interface to send a channel number.
