Hi,

Yesterday I recorded a movie and everything looked allright. When the recording stopped, however, the pc hung and did so quite badly, only power off/on worked. GBPVR told me the recording had failed, but I wanted to play the file. So in the recordings window, I clicked OK on the failed recording and immediately clicked OK again... but that deleted the file...

Two things:
1. what could be the cause of this hanging at the end of a recording (I had experienced this once or twice before).
2. could it be an idea to reverse the exit and delete buttons in the details view of a failed recording? The chance of accidentally deleting a file is reduced that way.

Greetings,
MaBo

I get this problem about once a week (its my biggest remaining problem with the setup). The show is recorded but the PC then locks up so badly I have to turn it off. This means that I end up missing things scheduled to record later that night.

I find that the recorded file is there but if I try to access it, even just right click and show properties, it takes 3 minutes to access it. Similarly, if I try to play it, it does play but sits there for 3 minutes first.

This seems to occur most often when I have recordings back to back (I use a 5 minute start and end padding). In fact, I think that the last two times it happened, it was after the second recording in a set of 3 or 4 back to back.

Any ideas on this one sub?
