Hauppauge Remote

Firstly, I would like to say SWEET PROGRAM.

Everything is working fine for me. Everything is working the way its supposed to be however I do not know how to install my Hauppauge! Remote.

I've read on the site how to do it by editing irremote.ini but I must have done something wrong.

Can anyone send me their irremote.ini or altern. tell me how to fix this.

Hauppauge remote should work with the Hauppauge remote software (installed with wintv) without having to edit anything. Although you will need to click the applicable button in the config app under the dvd & remote tab.

I believe you can bybass the Hauppauge software by checking the "Use direct access to Hauppauge remote under the Misc tab in config.

i really messed up my irremote.ini cuz i edited it like an idiot

i forgot to add, remote works but once i click on live tv i get an error "Found IR Controller (e2)" which i assume is because i messed up somewhere in the irremote.ini file. once i press ok i get control back but everytime i change channels, i get the same error

Here you go - This is for my 34 button remote...

I look and the irBlaster software has died. I restart it and I have controll again until i try and change channels or anything in live TV. I can use direct access OK but I can not get my Pansat 2500A to change channels.. (That part is in a different thread.)

Any help with the error would rock!
