I tried opening config.exe to change some settings in GBPVR and am met with the following .NET error.

EventType clr20r3, P1 config.exe, P2 1.0.2344.23210, P3 1, P4 system.xml, P5 2.0.0.0, P6 4333ae70, P7 6b1, P8 27, P9 system.xml.xmlexception, P10 NIL.

I've tried moving my Plugins folder out of gbpvr, and tried reinstalling ver 97.09 without any change in the error. I've checked my event logs and I've been getting this error repeatedly for the past week.

I hadn't needed or wanted to make any changes in GBPVR til now and haven't been having any problem.

Log files are attached.

How does your config.xml file look? I've had problems opening the config app when my config.xml file got trashed (due to bluescreen problem reported elsewhere)

Config.xml looks OK. I've just reintalled .NET 2.0 framework, and I'm going to try an uninstall and clean reinstall of GBPVR. I'll save the entire DEVNZ folder to a different location in case a resolution is found.
Hopefully, everything will fire back up. I'm taking a sledgehammer to the problem.

SUB. Feel free to delete this thread. I'll repost if I encounter new problems.
Thanks

A clean reinstall has worked. I can fire up my Config OK now. Media MVP is even firing up right out of the box. No need to change the dongle.bin. I'll start reinstalling skins and plugins tomorrow. I'll settle for it working tonight.
