Problem using XRecord

I’m having a problem using XRecord, X search and j2guide, running GBPVR V0.97.9 using base skin. When I install XRecord easy install I can’t get GBPVR to run with any pluggins when starting configuration I get an error message and when the menu appears all the plugins are missing. This stops when I remove the j2guid dll from the plugin directory.
So configuration seams to work fine when j2guide is not installed all the plugins reappear and GBPVR starts as normal again with XRecord and XSearch in the menu. When I try to select the plugins I get an error massage saying object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Her are the parts of the logs that have errors when xrecord, Xsearch and guidej2 are installed.

Problems-

Configuration gives error message before starting something concerning guidej2 and the ole db then runs but without access to the plugin menu.
GBPVR starts for 20 to 30 seconds (menu tabs can be scrolled and selected) then shuts down with error message.
No menu tab appears for guidej2.
When selected Xrecord and Xsearch give following on screen error message -
Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

It looks like it has something to do with the OLE DB I have Microsoft access on my pc I think I have also got SQlight (there are a lot of access files in the main GBPVR directory).
My worry is there could be two problems as when I remove guidej2 GB configuration runs fine showing plugin menu and PVR works without shutdown and all other plugins are ok but i get a diferant error when selecting Xrcord and Xsearch it says Error:Method not found; GBPVR.Backend.Common.ScheduleHelper

Dose anyone know anything about oleaut.dll" and "oleaut32.dll, do you think not having them could cause the above ole db problems? If so where is the best place to get the latest version for xp pro? I think they might have something to do with visual basic!
