Is it possible to disable visualizations?

I'm curious if it is possible to disable visualizations that run when playing audio?

When playing music, the visualization floats over plugin menus (i.e., theme mangager for BaseSkin and Weather) so you can't see what's behind the visualization. I find visualizations to be pointless and annoying in general, so I would be more than happy to part with them. Iâd much rather see currently playing track information or album art.

I'm running v97.9 with BaseSkin (HDeeTV theme). Plugins installed: Theme manager, weather, music albums, and music panel.

Yes you can. Just edit config.xml and set <UseWindowsMediaPlayerForAudio>false</UseWindowsMediaPlayerForAudio>
