Quick question here:

I'm loving PVRX2 for media playback, but I don't have a capture card or anything like that and I'm not planing on getting one. Not that it is a big deal, but I'm wondering: Is there is a way to disable the recording services (and gbpvrtray.exe) so as not to use any memory?

Thanks in advance!

You could set the service to disabled in the services part of windows.
Although I found I got a .net exception when changing things in the config app, and clicking OK (as it tries to restart the recording service, and can't)

- I believe you can change a setting in config.xml to not restart the recording service when clikcing OK in config.

Start, Run, enter "Services.msc" without the quotes, and scroll down to gbprvrecordingservices, change from enable to disable. Take the gbpvrtray.exe out of your startup folder. That should do it Smile
