I thought that I had read somewhere on here that if you are watching a recording and stop it and come back to it later that GB-PVR either ask you if you want to start at the begining or where you left off? Mine always starts at the begining and doesn't ask. I'm just looking for confirmation that GB-PVR can do this, and if so how do I enable it?

This also leads to my second question: It seems no matter what I do, when I press Fast Forward on my remote it speeds up, but when I press it again (or play for that matter) it takes about 10 seconds before it stops FF and returns to play, but then I have no audio at all. Sometimes video is choppy as well, but not all the time.

Thanks! Smile

If need be, I can recreate/post logs tonight when I get home for the second issue.

in cofig, misc tab, set it to "use short skip instead of FF/RW" . not quite the same thing, but much more reliable and just as easy to use once your used to it.

Would this be using the MVP?

if so, recall the video you see is being buffered 5 seconds or so.. so any action on the remote other than OSD will seem to take a bit... at least it does for me.. when I use the PC or network PC the fastforward, play is pretty much instaneous... I changed my buffer time to 1.5 seconds (preplay delay in config) ... it made quite a difference... and the network is fast enough... I almost wonder if I need any at all..

but perhaps its just me... I am still learning...

I will give that try fuzzweed, thanks.

Sniper, no MVP straight out of the PVR and into the TV.
