I don't know what changed, why now, but now everytime I run EPGExtra it crashes with "EPGExtra has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience".

Any ideas? nothing in the EPGExtra.log, except that it started.

I tried now, don't see any change. Same thing (maybe more error printing):
Code:
c:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr>EPGExtra.exe
EPGExtra will add these extra items to the GBPVR program description:
  Year Released
  Star Rating
  First Aired Date
  Repeat Flag
  MPAA Rating
  Closed Captions
  Stereo

To suppress individual items, the following command line parms may be used:
  -nomoviedate
  -nostarrating
  -noairdate
  -norepeat
  -norating
  -noCC
  -nostereo
(ie. EPGExtra -norepeat -noCC -nostereo)

To rollback all previous changes, use -undo

In case there's any confusion, the new version of EPGExtra on the wiki (v1.1) is the same as the one in the thread that tipstir posted here. Easy way to check if you are running the correct version: execute it from the command line and, if it lists Closed Captions as one of the "extra items" (see madcat's example), you are running the old version (v1.0). The new version lists HDTV instead of Closed Captions.

What are the symptoms? What does the EPGExtra log say? Did you try running it "stand alone"?
