Support for new ATI 550 Driver?

The documentation for latest release says:
"Added logic to cope with recent ATI 550 driver changes".

Could you please elaborate what is the effect of this change?

[Did ATI finally add the support for multiple resolutions to the 550 driver? Becuase I can only use full D1 : 720x576 and it's very frustrating...]

The was a change to the drivers recently that broke live preview mode when the deinterlacing was set to anything other than 'encoder passthrough'. The change I made was to fix this.
