Hi all this is my first post! I have been using gbpvr for some time and I love it! for most of my problems, I have found answers on this fourm (with a little searching) and reading the manual, but I have run into one that I have not been able to fix! Its with comskip and getting it to run! when I first installed it everything ran great! but now I can't get it to run on its own.If I drop the recording on the comskip.exe it will run and remove all the commercials just like it should! But thats a pain! I have tried just about everything I can think of to get it to run on its own. I upgraded to the latest v, turned on comskip in the config. turned it off and then back, on looked in comskip ini file at the tv live option, Looked at the post process bat ( but didn't touch it)! so if anybody has any sugestions thx

You should give us your logs, if this happened. Loog for the GBPVRRecordingService.exe.log, after you changed to debug level of logging within the config app.
I think you have the same problem like me ^^;

Ah please... would you post your Hardwareconfig too, please? Especially CPU! I don't believe that is something about GB-PVR. GB-PVR worked all the time perfect with comskip...

I wanna compare my hardware with yours.

No... just .zip your logs and attach them. You can switch to "Go Advanced" for writing a post. There you can upload your zipfile.

HA! I have the Problem!!! It's the BETA 3 of the IE7! Remove it and all is good again. I have the same. Another user has Problems with the Recording Service -> he too has the IE7 BETA 3

I just remembered that i had installed this one on my workstation. I wasn't able to use my Lserprinter from there with IE7 BETA 3 installed! Everytime a error message like "Permission denied".

I will now go back to the BETA 2; with this i hadn't any problem ^^

Interesting. What on earth is IE7 beta 3 doing to stop comskip??? (No, I haven't loaded it! And won't be, either).
C2Duo E8400, 4GB, GE8600GT, PCH A-100, HVR2200, NPVR 1.5.31, Win 7 x64.

So, i can confirm: With IE 7 BETA 2 (not 3) there is no problem. Responsible for the error is also IE7 BETA 3
