I cannot get the Weather Plugin in config app to "check". Did not work for me in .15e or .16.

Weather plugin zip was unzipped to "\program files\devnz\GBPVR\" and the weatherplugin.dll ended up in the "\program files\devnz\GBPVR\plugins" directory.

BTW - .16 works great, fixed my issues with MediaMVP!

Make sure you have the default blue skin selected.  None of the others have the required weather buttons yet.  I will try and add the code tonight to use those blue buttons if a skin doesn't have the weather buttons.

Oh, hmmm, the config app won't let you check the plugin huh. Sub, what checking goes on there??

Blue skin is selected.

Do I need to register the WeatherPlugin.dll?

Is there anything else I need to do to "install" the plugin besides expand the zip to the GBPVR plugins and skins directories?

Thanks

No, that's all you should have to do. There is no registration of the dll. Sub will need to answer what happens when you try and select that check box.

One thing I did notice is you need to click your mouse directly on the checkbox, not on the 'weather plugin' text.

If you can see the Weather plugin in the list in the Config app, then you can select it. There is no logic to make them read only or anything like that.

Highlight the plugin by clicking on it, then click in the square.
