Live TV not working :(

Hi,

I'm a newbie here..
I just bought a Hauppauge 350 card and installed it along with the softwares it came with. I installed gbpvr and setup the channels and all.. Wen I run GBPVR, the TV guide works fine, but when I click "LIVE TV" I get the following message:
"Video is playing back using TV out. Press 'Home' to return to menu"
But no image appear.. I tried running the software that came with the hauppauge and It works fine and I can watch tv normally.. But not working with gbpvr when I click "Live TV"
ANy help would be greatly appreciated

Just wanted to add that when I plug my Svideo cable from My Hauppage to My TV and click live TV, a black screen appears on my TV and then as if it was going to work and goes back to the main menu again.. :S

This is because you're configured it to use the PVR350's hardware decoder, which is connected to the TV out connector on the back of the PVR350. If you want to view on your PC, just set the hardware decoder option in the config app to 'none - use software decoding'.

I changed the HArdware Decode to "NONE - Use software decoder" and when I restart gbpvr and click Live TV, this is the message I get :

"Error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object"

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

It looks like you've got your PVR350 setup as a PVR150 in your capture source settings. Correct it and it should be fine.

I know i'm starting to get annoying :S
But we're getting 1 step closer
I had put PVR350 before.. I don't know why it changed to PVR150 !
I changed it back to PVR350 !!
I ran live TV ! And this time no error !! But No video either I get a black screen with the channel number and description on the bottom.. But copletely black screen.. Could this be due to the codecs I have on my pc ?

I suspect this is related to the lack of a compatible MPEG2 decoder. What video decoders are listed in the config app?

System Default
Intervideo nonCSS Video Decoder
Sonic Cinemaster DS Video decoder
Nero Video Decoder

I tried all four and I get the same result.. Strange..
