Hvr 1300

Hi I already have a dvico dvbt plus. I wanted to be able to watch a digital channel and record one at the same time. I also want to be able to use the analogue FM radio side of this card as well (Not Digital Radio). I was wondering if gbpvr would allow me to do this with the HVR1300, I have noticed it is listed in setup for the anologue side but not the digital side. I know I cant use digital and analogue at the same time.
Can anyone let me know if this would be a good card for me to go along with my old card for 2 digital channels and analogue FM radio.

I've has no probs at all with my hvr1300 for digital TV - plug and play all the way (actually I was so pleased I went straight out and bought another one)!
Had to tweak the config to get the analogue TV to work (and thus the composite in / video capture) - but the how-to is in the forums now somewhere.
Never tried the FM side of it, so can't really comment whether this is effective of not (or even supported).

Thanks for the reply. Good to hear it ran well for you. I am not going to use the anologue TV side of the card (digital all the way for me there is no going back!), if anyone else can help me with the FM side and if I can use it with my pre-existing Dvico digital card for watch and record that would be great!

OK, just done a quick experiment. GBPVR definately doesn't recognise the FM tuner in the HVR1300 as 'standard' - I just get "unable to locate an available FM tuner".
I think this is because the HVR1300 is recognised as a Nova-T tuner by GBPVR which (I'm guessing) doesn't come with the FM tuner.
What I don't know is whether the HVR1300 is equivalent to any other type of card i.e. whether it will work with a different card selected that does have a tuner. I daren't start fiddling too much in case I break the system, and therefore sabotage my current domestic bliss.....
Anyone able to answer this (cos I'm curious now too)?
