Hauppauge 1300 and remote control puzzle

I have a 1300 MCE Kit complete with a remote control and a 'blaster' receiver.

However the blaster receiver has a 2.5mm mini jack plug on it and the 1300 card has no input to receive it.

Is this jack plug supposed to be USB connection or similar. Looking on the Internet, I cant find anyone with the same problem as me.

With the MCE kit, you'd usually get a USB receiver/blaster dongle. Into this you can plugin an IR Blaster LED-on-lead thingy, which plugs into the USB receiver/blaster.

Looks like my USB device is missing then,I'll contact Hauppauge and Dabs.com (supplier) to see if I can get one from them.
