"failed to locate configured capture device"

I'm getting this when trying to launch live TV.
I suspect I'm missing the driver for the card somewhere, but I'm not sure where.

Net Radio works fine.

If I'm in the capture source, recording source, Capture Card Type, it says no know cards detected in this machine when I select the "Only show devices detected in this machine".

I've installed the drivers (direct from ATI site) but GBPVR still doesn't seem to recognize the card.

If someone a bit more famaliar could assist me that would be fantastic. I really want to get this software going.

Have you tested the card is working with any other software?

Yep. It works with the power cinema included (which, personally, I think is crappy).

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

Uploaded the gbpvr.exe and gbpvr.exe-native files.

Cleared the logs before hand and then just recreated the live tv problem as per first message.
Hope that's what you need.

Its looking for a standard ATI 550 Pro component on your machine, but not finding it.

Are you sure you have a ATI TV Wonder Elite, not some other ATI capture device model?

Maybe need to adjust driver in my device manager, I'll check it out.

Its possible that ATI have released some new drivers that have changed the name, but I havnt heard any other reports of this.

Can you try running the attached utility, then post the resulting FilterCheck.log?

what is that app? .exe?
Ran it, but cna't find where it creates the log.. where does it create it?

Regardless.. after some reapplication of the drivers it is working.
