OK so here is the setup and information and I'm having a few Problems..

I have a Brand new ATI Wonder Elite running on Windows Xp Pro.

The Card is working because I can open the Tuning Assitant and I see the Piciture on the channels as it does searches but I can't seem to get playback working.

Here is what I've done. I installed the software and I set the Config portion under source to Direct Recording Plugin. I setup an Zapit Account and I set the recording source to Ati Tv Wonder Elite (like it should be) Internal Tuner and Cable TV. I have the Remote but haven't quite figured out how to install the plugin I've downloaded for the remote so I simply set the channel changer to no channel changer required.

So At this point I save the config and everything seems to work as for opening the software HOWEVER when I hit live TV I get nothing. So I've tried the different playback options across the bottom as for the Video Decoder the only option I have is Nvidia Video Decoder.... so I'm not sure if thats the issue or not..

Any help would be greatly appreciated... I'm happy to RTFM... if someone can point me to a specific document that will spell it out for me GREAT... Or if there is specific place for documentation in general would be great..... Or if you wanna lead me by the nose thats cool to I suppose....Smile

Thanks in Advanced

Thats sounds right.

This isnt causing your problem, but just thought I'd point out that this should be left on 'none' for your setup. The channel changer is not related to the use of a remote control. It is for control external set top boxes with IR Blasters etc.

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the gbpvr.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.

Its failing load the nvidia decoder, and as a result, failing to find an MPEG2 decoder. I'm not sure why the NVIDIA Video Decoder is failing to load.

If you cant work out why, you could try the video decoder from here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/gplmpgdec

Thanks a ton for the help. That got it up and working with Sound and Video and Everything.

One last thing is I downloaded the file for a Third Party Plugin for the Tv Wonder Elite remote and it just a simple DLL file but I'm not sure how to incorporate that into the software..... Do I need to put it in a specific directory because I couldn't find an option to upload it or where to put the file.

Once again Thanks a TON in Advance

Sorry, I dont know about that one. Its not a GB-PVR plugin. I'm pretty sure you need to put it in some ATI directory somewhere.

I would have just been repeating what I read elsewhere. I have got a Remote Wonder, but I've never taken it out the box or tried it.

I think all RW plugin DLLs need to be loaded up by the remote wonder config. I've used the plugin in question for over a year. It has most of GBPVRs functionality but it's missing the record button.

I've since moved on to using the HIP plugin which you have to load into the RW config software as well. Lots of people think that RW plugins are for the software. In most cases, it's loaded by the RW software.

If you don't like HIP an alternative is the RW keyfactory (+RW key master for the RW plus and RW I) and Remain Wonder plugin. Be careful with the RW keyfactory it takes control and doesn't let other plugins play nicely.
E6400, 2 GB RAM ,500 GB + 250 GB HD, PVR150+ Adaptec 3610, RW 2 + HIP, Antec 2480 w/ mini ninja ...still using v 0.99

for the rw plugin you copy the dll to the remote wonder\plugins folder and inside of the remote wonder config app you import the plugin and you are good to go.
