Avermedia M150

I recently bought the m150 card to replace an aging ATI PCI Wonder card. I knew I was going to have a hard time tying to find a software that would work with it since it was designed for Windows Media Edition. I've found a couple of programs that said the "Blackbird" card would work but so far the only thing I can get to work is SageTV. I installed GBPVR and all I get is a black window when I go to Live TV. Is there anything I need to do besides picking the M150 from the dropdown menu? I have .Net 1.1 installed running XP Pro and have the latest drivers from Avermedia's web site.

As long as you add a capture source, set it to use the direct recording plugin, and select the M150 as the device type - you should be away. I assume you've set you input correctly (Tuner/SVideo/Composite)?

I've had other users confirm this is working for them, but I've not tested it personally myself as I dont own an AverMedia device.
