hello,

I was wondering why when I go to Update EPG, it tries to log into ZAP2it and process the listing, but it never finishes. . . it can sit there for hours and do nothing. any thoughts?


can use xmltv to download manually....but have been trying for a month through gbpvr

firewall possibly? something blocking the connection but GBPVR thinks it is connected?

I had a problem at first, but then realized I had to login at the website and create a profile first so it knew what guide to get (have to enter your zip code), then when you login under GBPVR it will get the info (Mine took like 10 minutes the first time) but once it has all the channels setup, it shouldn't take as long to just get updated guide listing. Also, you have to manually go through and add all the channels (it'll auto tune, but I had to keep hitting the enter button every time it found a channel).
