Zip file's corrupted. I assumed it's your config.exe log file?

The zip file is fine. If you search the formum you will find instructions somewhere about how to setup IE to download zip files form the forum (or you can just switch to firefox).

Yeah right. No offense, but why not just use one of the billions of programs out there that create valid zip archives? The one built into XP works fine. And there's WinZip and WinRAR, both free. And the open source gzip (for the Penguin Heads) has been a staple for probably a decade.

So why again is your zip file invalid? Just curious. Oh right, I should search the forum.

It is not the zip file, it's IE.

Hahaha! Er, yeah. IE selectively corrupts zip files? They didn't pay their light bill or something?

Poorly designed antivirus software? I could see that. IE? While not impossible, not likely.

It is a widely known issue regarding IE using HTTP 1.1 Extensions and downloading attached ZIP files from forums that use this software. There is no need to accuse others of misleading people or blatant lies. We are here to help each other, not belittle people. Have a go yourself to see what we are talking about. Use Firefox to view the thread and download the attached ZIP file and it will open just fine for you. I verified this myself before posting. Although you can try to claim I am part of the wider "conspiracy", you can not yourself claim anything until you have tried the alternative.

IE doesnt seem to like them.

If you disable the HTTP 1.1 Extensions in your IE settings, it will download zip file attachments fine. Its some problem with vbulletin on windows servers.
