How do you get the plug-ins to appear on main menu

Very basic question, I know, but I'm confused. I've seen so many screen shots of different main menus where the sports ticker and the weather and such (I have installed them already) appear. I'm using the BaseSkin, but I don't see them there. :confused:

Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? I've attached my config file.

Check the box next to the plugin of choice on the Plugin tab of the config app.

There is no sports ticker for the main menu, you may be seeing the Rss Newsreader ticker, which is installed with that plugin. The weather images are probably due to the Video Archive panel which is installed with that plugin.
