I have a problem with setting the channels for my Dish network receiver through the IR blaster. If I'm using just the Hauppauge remote, things work fine changing b/w channels. But if I use the Dish Network remote and GBPVR gets out of sync, then I have issues.

What I basically want to know is if there is a way to customize the output so that it will send the channel change, wait for five seconds, then send it again to make sure that it gets sent correctly. It's the first time that it gets sent that I'm missing the first digit in the number.

Thanks in advance.

adjust the settings in the irblastcfg program in start menu...
that cured it for me...Smile [was having same probs with dish box and pvr150 blaster..]

oh and you can make a batch file and set the blaster to run '@comspec'
[don't worry,it'll turn into the correct thing]
with parameters ' /c yourbatchfile.bat {channel}'
and in batch file put the regular blaster cmdline, a pause, then same line again...

Thanks for the reply. I wish that you had written that last night b/c I ended up writing a little utility program that took the channel #, called HaupBlast with 000 as the current channel, waited for 7 seconds, then called HaupBlast again with the correct channel number.

Oh well. It works and it was fun to write.
