Hi

I Have a slight problem.
I want to record from my satbox (PAL) not NTSC, and have connected this through a s-video cable to the hauppauge pvr250 s-video connector.
The picture is fine, but only black and white.
I have found that in the quality settings for all external devices I can only select the NTSC settings and not PAL. As I only can select NTSC I will get the Black/White video.

Is there a way to setup PAL on the s-video externals in the GBPVR software?

Thanks in advance

Kind regards
Eddie

usually the output device is either PAL or NTSC, so i don't think you can have one cap source for pal and one for ntsc..there's a checkbox on config to set either, and i think it's program wide..
may also be locked in the cap card drivers as it must spit out pal or ntsc format media as well..
probably have to get a seperate cap card and even then not sure if you can use 2 diff standards within gbpvr at same time..
easy to convert between them, jsut change framerate [29.97-NTSC or 25-PAL]
and framesize [720x NTSC or 756?PAL] [too early to think PAL lol]
problem is capturing it...[capturing it as ntsc willl always leave out color info]
