Hi I've just installed 98.8 and every thing looked fine until I tried to run Config and then I received this error message.

Can anybody throw any light please?

Thank you

If you upgraded from an earlier version, and skipped v0.97, then you'll need to make sure you have the following settings in config.xml:

Code:
<DatabaseConnectionString>Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data Source=".\gbpvr.mdb";User Id=admin;Password=</DatabaseConnectionString>
<DatabaseProviderFactory>System.Data.OleDb.OleDbFactory</DatabaseProviderFactory>
<DatabaseIdentityQuery>select @@identity</DatabaseIdentityQuery>

Hi Sub

I was a couple of issues behind but my Config is as you suggest, if I click ok i get this message from the .NET. If I click continue I get to the Configuration, any ideas? Thanks again.

You've still got something wrong in your config file in those settings I posted above. Zip and attach your config.xml and I'll take a look.

You didnt update the config.xml as I suggested above.

I asked you to set it to:
Code:
<DatabaseConnectionString>Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data Source=".\gbpvr.mdb";User Id=admin;Password=</DatabaseConnectionString>
<DatabaseProviderFactory>System.Data.OleDb.OleDbFactory</DatabaseProviderFactory>
<DatabaseIdentityQuery>select @@identity</DatabaseIdentityQuery>

Instead, you have:
Code:
<DatabaseConnectionString>Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data Source=".\gbpvr.mdb";User Id=admin;Password=</DatabaseConnectionString>
<DatabaseProviderFactory>[b]System.Data.SQLite.SQLiteFactory[/b]</DatabaseProviderFactory>\
<DatabaseIdentityQuery>[b]select last_insert_rowid()[/b]</DatabaseIdentityQuery>

I think you put the correct lines from sub in the wrong place in config.xml.
You have to put the lines a bit higher, under <!-- Database settings -->.Smile
AMD Athlon 64 3000, HDD: 80, 120, 200 GB, Hauppauge 350 + 150, MVP, Asus 6000L Laptop client, Asus X50sl client,
Fritz!box 7140 modem/router, GBPVR 1.3.7.

Sub, HtV

I see my error I was looking at the code block below "Access" which is identical to to what Sub suggested, I should have looked at the code above "SQlite".

I have now changed SQlite but I still get the same error message, have attached corrected config.

Thank you for your time
