Alrighty then,

I'm switching which computer is my PVR and which is my main computer and I'm running into problems.

I'm also adding a PVR-500 to my PVR-250 and 150.

When I had the 250 with only the 150, everything worked just fine, but when I added the 500, things don't work now.

I took the 150 and 500 out and it works, I put the 500 in and it doesn't, so obviously something weird's going on with the 500.

I installed the 500 as two different capture sources in Config, one with the FM tuner, one without.

When I go to watch live TV, I get an "Object reference not set to instance of an object" error. Whenever I schedule a recording with the 500, it doesn't record anything and I get 0Kb files.

The logs point to a problem with NativeUtilities. This is from a fresh install of GB-PVR 98.8

I don't really want to do an entire reformat and reinstall so I'd like to get this working.

(Also, I'm running Win2K and I've made sure that I have all the required software including WMP 10.)

I'll attach my logs so someone can look.

Thanks!

It'll be because the device number associated with each capture source are wrong.

If you add a PVR500 to you machine, the to device numbers wont necessarily become the highest numbers. They have inserted themselves in the middle or beginning somewhere. This is only a problem when you mix a previous generation device (PVR250/350) with a current generation (PVR150/500).

The device type check might be able to tell you the correct numbers of each device. Its not a super reliable utility, but worth a shot: http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Utili...eTypeCheck

Nice! Worked like a charm!

Thanks for the quick reply, sub. You are, of course, awesome!
