Avermedia M179 and PVR250 (Freestyle)

I have a PVR250 (Freestyle) that worked perfectly with gbpvr before. I added a Avermedia M179 as the second card and now neither card works. I need some help. I can record from both cards using wintv and Avermedia's tv program (even at the same time) so I would think I could with gbpvr. Any ideas?

When you say 'now neither card works', what exactly happens?

You could also email me the gbpvrrecordingservice.exe-native.log file which may contain some clues.

The PVR250 will open a file and not put anything into it, i.e., the file stays at 0 bytes. The M179 won't even do that. I'll send the log file as soon as I get home from work. I appreciate the help.
