My daily EPG update appears to be failing every day. I'm running 98.8b, and have converted the DB. I was pulling 12 days of data, but dropped that to 7 now and it's still failing. Here's a snippet from my GBPVRRecordingService.exe.log file:

Thanks.

It looks like there is some garbage on line 489051, position 3, of the data returned from zap2it. If you set <SaveZap2itXML>true</SaveZap2itXML> in config.xml, then do the EPG update again. It'll save the zap2it response to c:\zap2it.xml.

I have to say though, that is a ridiculous number of lines - nearly half a million. How many channels do you have in your zap2it lineup, and are you sure you really need them all? If there is channels you dont watch, remove them from your channel lineup.

Good point. I checked my "checked" channels, and suprisingly, all of my 90 or so channels (on basic cable) were selected. I pared it down to about 45 and will try again. Will follow-up with results. Thanks.

After reducing the number of channels and updating at 4:00 (EDT), the problem seems to have disappeared. Thanks Sub!
