Imon plugin problem

I've been trying to get my silverstone LC11M's LCD display to work with GBPVR by using the plugin from here:

I've followed the instructions and have got the LCD working with LCDSmartie but for some reason I can't get the plugin to work with GBPVR. I've copied it to the plugin directory as per the instructions in the post but when I open the configure program the plugin is not listed so I'm unable to configure it.

I've noticed from the posts that this plugin is over a year old so perhaps it's not compatible with the newest version of GBPVR which is the version I'm running. If this is the case is there either a newer version of the plugin, a different one or a way of making it work? Any help much appreciated,
