Live TV: Error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object

I recently installed 0.98.8, and it has (mostly) worked fine. However, I tried Live TV for the first time today, and after selecting the Live TV menu option I got:

Error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object error

My capture card is a PVR150 MCE. I've attached all the logs.

Any suggestions?

Unfortunately I cant see that error in your logs. If you reproduced it on your PC (rather than MVP), then you'll probably need to temporarily disable able the MVP servers (by setting auto start servers to zero) to force the PC to produce logs, then reproduce and repost the logs.

I experienced the same problem today with GBPVR and LiveTV.

I fixed mine by opening the GBPBR configuration, clicking the "Playback" tab, and changing from "VMR9 Custom Renderer" to the plain "VMR9". Saved the changes and everything worked great.

Sub mentioned this in an old message I found here on this forum.
