Any time I try to play a currently recording show, I get weird results.
1) No OSD whatsoever.
2) I cannot skip in the file (get instance not set to an object error).

I recreated this a couple of hours ago. Logs attached. At 2006-10-24 21:41:05 I tried playing "vanished" with the above behavior.

I tried this both on my nova-t and on my pvr-350.

You'd think that if it was a bug, more people would have hollered by now Smile

Can you see if you still get this error if you switch back from Sassari to the default Blue skin?

Yes, exact same problem... New logs attached. Tried watching "45 minuter" (yes, that's '45 minutes' for those of you in Advanced Swedish class Wink ) at 2006-10-24 22:51:04

Does it make any difference if you disable 'auto skip commercials' in the config app?

Doesn't help unfortunately, i wonder if running show analyzer instead of comskip would make this problem go away?

I just wanted to add some more information to the problem if you have comskip set to come on after the recording. Then the osd and skip work until the show has stopped recording. When it stops recording the osd and skip quits working (comskip is starting to work on file). However once comskip has created all indexes all buttons and functions work again.

If you have comskip set to work while recording the show then osd and skip functions will not work until comskip has quit working on the show.

Thanks.

I'm going to take a look at this in the morning and post a patch if necessary.
