HI,

I have been running a PVR350 for long time now. very satisfying...
Now I added a NOVA-T USB2 Stick.

Recording works fine, but my pvr350-IR Remote won't work anymore... I spent hours trying to fix.

Another issue is that (I am using XMLTV EPG) doing an epg update, the small window (EPG UPDATE - PLEASE WAIT) will appear again and again and again. I stopped the processes after 20 of them have been started...
if works from config app (edit capure source)

Any ideas?

thanx

This is pretty standard when you mix Hauppauge devices. It always ends up deactivating the IR port you want to use... Big Grin

I think only ever enables the IR port on the last Hauppauge device installed.

How is this EPG update occuring? The best way to do it is to let the automated EPG updated occur at the set time, or from the 'update epg' button in the System screen.

there are many files called: gbepg-1-2-3-4...-23-24.dvr.ms
in my rootdirectory now. can this be related to my problem?

These files are usuallky created when you do a DVB EPG update, but normally deleted immediately after the update. I'm not sure why they stayed there for you.

Delete the files manually, and hopefully they wont get recreated.

You cant play DVR-MS files via your PVR350's TV out.

Ok, well as I said above, try using the 'update EPG' option in the System plugin instead, or let the system do the automated EPG update.

IR Remote issue: solved

Did I already say that I use XMLTV for EPG for both TV devices?
