I am getting an odd error in my log every time GBPVR tries to record a particular show at a particular time. Every other recording works fine, it's just this show at this time:

10/31/2006 12:47:07 PM.093 ERROR [5] Caught unexpected exception: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
at GBPVR.RecordingService.x93f60a55016d55c4.xcba1f05fb5a46d5f()

Any idea what is causing this?

The error message is spammed several times a second for the duration of the recording time.

Can you zip and attach a complete set of log for me to look at?

I can only guess it somehow relates to these errors just before the recording started.

I cant tell the cause from your logs, but if you set <LogSQL>true</LogSQL> in config.xml and restart everything, then next time it happens post your logs and I should be able to find the cause.

It happened again today - same channel, same time. Again, all other recordings perform just fine.

I've attached a copy of the log.

Can you post a complete set of logs so I can see what the other processes were doing at the same time?

Is there any chance you could run without the DeleteSchedule.exe, PriorityRecordings.exe and a RecTracker.exe for a few days to see if they are the cause? Particularly RecTracker.exe, which seemed to be executing a delete statement in the database at the time database locking caused problems in the recording service.

Well I disabled RecTracker and the other plugins, and I still cannot record the show. Quite frustrating. Is there a way I can do a database purge or something of the sort?
