Vista, Sorry to ask again.

I know it's been asked before but has anyone got GBPVR working under a clean install of Vista RC2? If anyone has, please report how as I would like to also. I still have it running on an XP box but hey, I just cant leave well enough alone and testing is half the fun

It does not run under Vista RC2, I have tried all sorts of things to get it working but it will not.

Thanks for the reply Cent. Hopefully I should have the final version of Vista next week so I'll see what happens. I'm guessing that it will probably will not not fly though. I'll report back.

Just so you know, I've had a quick play this morning, and found there is only a couple of things stopping it from working. I was able to make it go by changing the directory permissions for my user on c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr to allow 'full control', and when I run the config app, I right mouse and select the 'run as administrator' option.

I'll modify the next release to make it more pain-free.

I tried those steps but still get cannot initialize .NET errors with RC2.

Vista has 1.0, 1.1 and 2.0 as default.
